The #justB storytelling is a U.S.-based campaign that aims to raise the profile of hepatitis B as an urgent public health priority and helps put a human face on this serious disease by sharing stories of real people living with or affected by hepatitis B. The goals of the campaign are to increase awareness and advocacy; decrease stigma and discrimination; and promote testing, vaccination, linkage to care, and treatment to help save lives.

Lynette’s Story
Lynette shares her journey navigating hepatitis B care between the U.S. and Taiwan. Despite conflicting medical advice, she trusted her instincts and pursued further testing and research, ultimately beginning life-saving treatment. When she was later diagnosed with two cancers, starting hepatitis B medication early helped protect her liver through intensive treatment. Lynette encourages others to advocate for themselves, ask questions, and push for access to care—because too many still go without it.
