Charles’ Liver Cancer Story

Charles shares his journey of being diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after experiencing unexplained shoulder pain, extreme fatigue, and breathing difficulties. Following a series of tests, doctors discovered a large liver tumor, which was later confirmed as HCC. Charles underwent immunotherapy, which successfully shrank the tumor, making him a candidate for a life-saving liver transplant. He highlights the importance of being your own advocate, asking questions, and building a strong support network, crediting organizations like Immerman’s Angels for connecting him with invaluable resources and support.
